1. It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommedation for the King Realty Team. We first met Mr. Alan King when he was a listing agent at the beginning of our house hunting tour. He graciously showed us the home and presented us with a professional packet outlining the King Realty Team. Although we did not like the house that day, his packet and demaenor impressed us so much we called him back and asked if he would be our buyers agent. Alan always responded immediately to our phone calls and emails, and led us to over 20 houses during our seach (mostly at night). He even greatly never desired a long-term contract, but instead focused on the individual houses we liked and helped us make mulitiple offers on several different properties during our odyssey. 3. The last and most valuable team member we had the pleasure of working with was Alan’s brother, Mr. John King. John is a Senior Loan Officer with Village Bank and helped us navigate today’s trickier mortgage marketplace. John helped explain the dramatic changes effecting today’s loans and worked tirelessly to lower our down payment amount and even helped us avoid P.M.I. for the entire life of our loan. We even carried out one of our most important meetings by telephone on a Saturday while I was driving through Tennessee. It is our pleasure to recommend Alan King as a real estate agent for any individual or family searching for the ideal home for their unique situation. We contacted Alan to sell our house, after deciding not to use the same brash agent that we purchased the house from. Alan had an initial meeting with us in January 2015. He took diligent notes e and provided us with a well thought-out and supported estimate for what the house would sell at. Alan also provided us with an estimate of what the house would “net” after payment of existing mortgage & closing costs. We absolutely appreciated the transparency of this estimate because it helped us make the difficult decision to delay selling our house for another year, in order to build more equity. Alan was most patient and in March 2016 we were finally ready to list our house. 

 

Alan stopped by the house to survey and made some recommendations about how to make the house look more attractive. Alan also hired an appraiser to double check the square footage of the house. This was a smart move, as the house was actually 10 sq ft larger, amounting to an additional $1,200 on the price of the house. Lastly, he hired a professional photographer to take photos of the house, which really made the house look attractive on the MLS and search engines. We had six showings the first day, five the next day and came to an agreement a day and a half of it being on the market. This was most pleasing because prepping a house for showings while living with a toddler is a very difficult thing to do.    

Alan was a highly attentive agent, almost as if we were his only customers. He returned all phone calls and emails the same day, even working after normal business hours to take calls from us after our toddler daughter went to bed. We never felt neglected or unimportant.

In March of 2015, I contacted the Larry King Team to hear what they had to say about selling my house.  I previously had my home listed with anther realtor and it did not sell.  I felt they were very thorough and on top of things so I contacted them to set up a meeting.  I was very impressed with how prepared Larry and Alan were when we met.
